Mother's Day

WE LOVE OUR MOMS!!!!!!!!!!
Here's a few of the activities that are inside the Mother's Day booklet on TPT!  My kiddos really enjoyed making them for their moms.  I always love seeing how they turn out.  We also made an "I Love You to the Moon and Back" activity that some of my fellow teachers were doing.  I thought it was absolutely precious.  I believe they saw it on Pinterest!!  It turned out SUPER CUTE!  I hope their mommies LOVED them!

Constitution Village Field Trip

We went on a field trip to Constitution Village on Thursday of last week.  It was a great trip.  The kids had a great time.  I think the most exciting part was when we saw Betsy Ross.  We had been reading a story about the flag and how it has changed over the years.  In our story we read how Betsy Ross may have sewn the first flag.  She told us about her life and some facts about the flag.  The kids were in awe.  One even asked her if she really was Mrs. Betsy Ross. :)  How cute!

Dr. Seuss and Read Across America Week

Check out some of the cute little Dr. Seuss activities that we did.
The kids had a lot of fun completed these.

From the book Horton Hears a Who

These are from the book There's A Wocket in My Pocket
This one is hilarious!  I think we'd know if this was in our pocket. :)

I love how these turned out!  Each face has it's only personality.

From the book Fox in Socks
They had to think of rhyming words and write them on a pair of socks.
They came up with some good words.

Our Things...Thing 1 and Thing 2 from The Cat In the Hat

Book Character Parade

The Grinch was a hit!  You should've heard them scream when he walked through the doors!

 My sweet niece...Laura Ingalls :)

Mr. Hampton!  If you can't tell...check out the book...he looks just like the old man character!  Not that Mr. Hampton is an old man...but he played the part perfectly!

These next few pictures are of the first pod...they did all the characters from Peter Pan...so cool!
